The dual-frequency 5XD 19/12 sonde for DigiTrak F5 operates at 12 or 19 kHz. The probe has a depth range of up to 19.8 meters. It is compatible with DigiTrak F5 locators (NOT FALCON F5!). The sonde transmits 12 clock positions and inclination with an accuracy of 0.1%. It switches to standby mode after 15 minutes.
Current consumption has been reduced while maintaining signal strength. The current consumption of the "original" transmitter in operating mode is 100-110 mA, while that of ours upgraded sonde is 45-55 mA. In the drill head, current consumption increases by 70-100% due to losses: the "branded" transmitters consume 180-220 mA, while the upgraded ones consume 100-120 mA.
The 5XD's structural elements responsible for reliable operation in harsh conditions have also been reinforced.
