The ET SwP black sonde is a replacement transmitter with switchable power (SwP), compatible with DigiTrak Eclipse, SNS200, and SNS200PRO locating systems. Operating at 12 kHz, it offers two selectable depth modes: standard mode at 18 meters and enhanced (high-power) mode at 22 meters — the deepest range available for the Eclipse platform. Despite the increased power, the ET SwP remains the same physical size as the standard ET sonde. It transmits 12 clock positions with inclination accuracy of ±0.1%, and automatically switches to standby after 15 minutes.
The structural elements responsible for reliable operation in harsh HDD conditions have been reinforced, making this sonde particularly well-suited for work in heavy or dense soils and with percussion drilling rigs where standard sondes are prone to early failure.
