SS-86D Dual-frequency sonde for the SubSite 750 or 752 location system. The SS-86D combines the best features of the 86 series transmitters.

Operating time with Twin lithium batteries — 150 hours or 70 hours with regular batteries (in the drill head). Compare the operating time with lithium batteries of branded probes:

Depth of 22 meters — same as 86BH - with extremely low power consumption, the working depth reaches up to 22 meters — comparable to the 86BH depth transmitter.
Instructions for switching frequencies. The frequency is selected when installing the batteries in the battery compartment:
-12 kHz — when installing the batteries from above;
-29 kHz — when installing the batteries from below.
The selected frequency is set after 5 seconds of vigorous shaking.
The probe continues to operate for 40-50 seconds after the batteries are removed, so when changing the frequency, it is necessary to hold the probe for one minute without batteries.
